The Peugeot Cycling Team was one of the longest standing teams of the peloton. They were almost 80 years non-stop sponsors. Besides victories in the Tour de France (10 including Eddy’s) and 3 in La Vuelta, the team also won plenty of monuments and classics. Eddy Merckx, Tom Simpson, Rik van Steenbergen but also plenty others like Thévenet, José de Cauwer, Stan Ockers, Charly Gaul and Henni Kuiper. In 1986 the sponsoring of the legendary car and bike brand ended. This postal card is an hommage to one of the most succesful teams ever in cycling history.
