This Dutch-language version of the photobook DE KUNST VAN HET AFZIEN will appear in stores in Belgium and the Netherlands from mid-June 2024, and this is the unique opportunity to see a signed launch version of this "coffee table book" on FOR SALE* to be ordered directly from internationally renowned cycling photographer Kristof Ramon, also known as "Kramon.
The book will also be wrapped in a special-for-the-occasion-made musette before it is sent to you or your addressee (as soon as the books become available).

This presale offer will be concluded once the book appears in stores on June 13, 2024 (subject to force majeure). Once this promotion closes, the books will be sent immediately.

THE ART OF REMOVAL offers a unique insight by Kramon into the world of professional cycling over the past 10+ years. The book focuses on these top athletes and their ability to renounce and the sacrifices that come with it.
Kramon covers all the top races and travels the world with the riders and their entourage to capture it all. Through his lens, we see cyclists moving through epic landscapes, winding through ancient villages and chasing over menacing cobblestones. But equally, his lens grants an intimate look behind the curtain of riders getting ready on the team bus or as they have their wounds tended to in the team hotel after a crash.
The foreword is by Wout van Aert who has been following Kramon since childhood (you can safely interpret this both ways...). Van Aert therefore graces the cover of the book with an image where he had plopped down on the pavement of the Piazza del Campo in Siena after his successful first participation there and introduced the world to the phenomenon of WVA.

"Carefully curated, stylishly designed and beautifully produced - The Art of Suffering is the ultimate gift for cycling enthusiasts."
