Café Copain is a coffee specially formulated for cyclists. The coffee is an ode to friendship, on and off the bike. Coffee roaster Yves Claes from Houtvenne has been a passionate coffee roaster and cyclist for years. Yves worked for years at a stretch on the Café Copain recipe to get the perfect blend it is today.
In his spare time, Yves regularly rides a road or mountain bike, and dares to take part in a race. For Yves, Café Copain is the fusion of his two ultimate passions. Café Copain is a product of Count Me In, which also organizes cycling events (road, gravel and MTB).
The bean mixture comes from seven countries, mainly South and Central America, grown with respect for people and nature. Roasting is done in Belgium, specifically in Westmeerbeek. Café Copain Cycling Roast is a medium roast coffee. We chose 100% Arabica beans. The coffee is approachable, great for drinking black but also goes perfectly with milk.
