The Kapelmuur is perhaps Flanders' most iconic cycling monument. The upper part of the legendary Muur of Geraardsbergen, which already starts at the Vesten, ends at the beautiful chapel from which it takes its name. With a length of more than 1 km and a gradient that peaks up to 20%, the devil of the climb is mainly in the tail. There where the cobblestones are more erratic and seem to start living a life of their own. This world famous climb has meanwhile become a real place of pilgrimage for many a race-loving cycling enthusiast. So it's high time for a fitting tribute to the Chapel Wall!
